What is my Mixed Media

People often ask, “Is this all your work? Is it AI? A painting? Digital art?” The answer is—yes, and more.

My process is a vibrant tapestry woven from many threads: the delicate hand of traditional art, the bold precision of digital design, and the unpredictable charm of AI. I use my own paintings, sketches, photos, and my wild imagination—sometimes sparked by a place I’ve visited, a colour in someone’s lipstick, or the joyful chaos of a bustling market. These moments swirl together in digital form, enhanced through layers of software and a whole lot of curiosity.

Digital art gives me the freedom to experiment wildly—to stretch shapes, push palettes, and play with scale and composition in a way that feels almost magical. It lets me chase an idea until it becomes something wholly new, yet still deeply personal.

And then there’s AI. Not the driver, but a cheeky co-pilot. It’s imperfect, often hilariously off the mark, but sometimes it stumbles into something so unexpected, it lights a match to a whole new direction. It’s like having a slightly rebellious studio assistant who shows up with glitter and refuses to colour inside the lines.

I’m endlessly inspired by the wonderful people and extraordinary characters I meet—each one a walking artwork. I adore watching how women express themselves through how they style their hair and what they wear—the swish of a dress, the tilt of a hat, statement shoes and handbags, stacks of bold jewellery, funky sunglasses, and bold lipsticks.

I’m drawn to that carnival energy: the confetti of style, movement, and unfiltered expression. There’s such beauty in the way people show up in the world, and that energy seeps into my work.

Every piece begins with a spark—a story, a feeling, a rhythm. Then, through layers of digital technique, artistic intuition, and playful exploration, it evolves. The technology may shape the canvas, but it's my human touch—my choices, my joy, my weird little obsessions—that give each piece its soul.

This creative fusion—traditional art, digital magic, and AI mischief—isn’t about replacing the old ways. It’s about reimagining them. It's a celebration of curiosity, connection, and the beautiful, whimsical mess of being alive.
